Kolodinsky, Seitz, Tresher and Brown is proud to offer mediation services. Both Rick Kolodinsky and Bill Seitz are certified civil circuit court mediators in the State of Florida. Mediation involves the parties to a dispute sitting down at the same table in the presence of a neutral third party mediator. It is the mediator's job to attempt to bring the parties to an agreement on the fair settlement of a particular claim. Mediation can be performed prior to a lawsuit being filed in an effort to settle the claim without the expense and delay of actual litigation. Once a lawsuit has been filed in the State of Florida, our laws require that the lawsuit be mediated prior to the parties being allowed to proceed to trial. Mediation services are offered in both our New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach offices. Both Mr. Seitz and Mr. Kolodinsky are also available to travel to any agreed upon location for a mediation.
